Tahniah Zul kerana berjaya menjejakkan kaki ke utara UK !! Tahniah...Tahniah...Dan Tahniah diucapkan (hanya org2 tertentu je paham apasal aku wish Zul sebegini rupa !!!)...Ini adalah snapshots2 yg diambik masa Zul yg skang study kat East Anglia University in Norwich membuat lawatan ke Durham, Edinburgh dan Glasgow, utk entry kali ni adalah masa kt Durham dulu...Best Gila tak ingat...Believe it or not...Sampai letih sapa coz makan non-stop !! Saudi's Gathering

*The famous, unique and distinctive Arabic Coffee-Healthier perhaps*
Yesterday's evening, I was invited by Ibraheem to join other Arabs and some other Muslim brothers to join the celebration of two Saudi's brothers that have passed their PhDs at Gilesgate Community Hall...I had a very good time and I thought that I'll be isolated at first because I know nothing about Arabic..Well that's a lie...I know La', Na'am, Loghatul Arabiah and Taffadhal...That's it but I reckon that those words never gonna helping me if I'll stuck in any Arabic countries !!
Typical Arabic greetings..It'll start with shaking both hands and they'll kiss twice at each other's cheeks...And then you'll be served an Arabic coffee to start and then you'll mingle with random people...But I know most of them and they know me because they're really familiar faces in the mosque, so I didn't feel so awkward !! Furthermore I felt really comfortable, thanks to the really warm hospitality in the Muslim Brotherhood atmosphere we've got here...
The foods were too much and as always I ate a lot ....In fact we had loads of dessert as well and they gave me some to be taken home...How lucky...Wish that they'll do this more often...
But really, thanks to Ibraheem and everybody for inviting me...I'd really have a good time last night...Anyway today is Monday and believe me I hate Mondays !!!

Late May indicates that the summer is almost here, leaving a vibrant colours of spring, scary pollens for those who're suffering from hay-fever, windy and load of rains. That's typical British Spring !! So as a part of British tradition, the coming of this warm-greenier look, sunny and a getting longer day period is celebrated by having a garden meals, just chilling at the backyard, an outdoor BBQ. At this time of the year, Eurovision is on as well and most people who're watching, just want to enjoy how crap it is...Trust me !
For my first BBQ invitation this year, Carly invited me and colleagues to have a nice afternoon at her place by having a simple BBQ at Brandon. Normally unlike us they will have a rather mild foods I can say; to be thrown on the grill such as burger meats and sausages, with of course for most of the time vegetarian options are always available and are prepared separately, then they'll eat it with bread rolls that squeezed with tomato ketchup, brown sauces or mayonaisse and always come with salads as well, then followed with cakes and ice-cream or puddings.
It was a very good opportunity to hang out with friends and everybody just showing off their grilling skills...It was fun and hopefully with more sunny spells here, more similar type of ocassion can be held soon though the weather here upnorth is really unpredictable...Never trust the forecast

Pegi China Town kat Newcastle, lunch kat Halal Salaam Bombay and bawak si Angelo ni ke mosque Uni Ncwle, masa tu Zuhur dah lanjut dah !!...Di samping tu oleh kerana rezeki murah sket bulan ni beli la kasut sepasang Heee..Heee, offer ma tp mahal jugak la 39.99 pounds...Errr Abe Dee jangan pow tau !!
Di samping tu ni a few gambar yg jumpa dlm kamera...Busy ma tak sempat nak ambik gamba skang ni....

Aduih...Letih sungguh hari nih...Nak penuhkan lists yg 'boss' bagi sepanjang dia kat London...Esok sudah mau balik...macam mana ni ? Tension...Tension...Macam tak jadik je reactions yg aku buat 2 hari lepas....Nauzubillah, Insya-Allah by tmrw miracle can happen....Haaa...Haaa..
Anyway setelah bertekak ngan Donocadh kt lab ari nih..lagi tensen aku...Bikin panas ! Jam dah pkl 8 lebih...lapar tak ingat, sebelum tu tengaharinya aku pegi beli ikan Mackerel nak buat singgae kat Durham Indoor Market yg costs me 3.26 pounds = RM 23.19 utk dua ekor !! Okla tu ikan Mackerel ni antara ikan yg termurah kt UK ni...Sebelumnya aku tlh beli lengkuas kering kt Newcastle tempoh hari and berkat sumbangan asam keping Kak Ina (wife bro. Fahmi), akhirnya jadik jugakla Ikae Singgae mlm nih..
Teringat kat Mak aku kt kampung...Dia terer la bab-bab Kelantanese Cookings ni...Kalau la dia tahu yg anak dia ni masak Ikae Singgae mesti terharu, masuk kali nih 2 kali dah aku siang ikan secara live ! Takla susah sngt..Okla, kt Malaysia aku tak pernah masak...except masa Form 3 dulu masa subjek KH
Dah ade dua ekor satu tu aku letak garam & kunyit and aku grill je...makan ngan BUDU yg aku bawak masa balik tahun lepas....bagai menatang budu yg penuh aku buat BUDU tu..sikit2 je aku makan..Sayang giler.....Precious Wooo..

The Fresh Fish Hunt at Sunderland

Actually these are not recent pics...just randomly found in my Pic Folder in my laptop...A bit busy to updates at that time...If I'm not mistakesn these pics were taken on Saturday the 12th in February 2005. (and if you guys notice, I'm a lot more skinnier/slimmer now Harrrr...Haaarrr...)
My suite-mate, Li Peng and his cute yet charming girlfriend who came all over from Surrey decided to go to Sunderland to get a fresh seafoods....He decided to buy some crabs and I was fancy fresh fish or prawns that suppose to be familiar to me as SE Asian !!
Unfortunately we're just 5 minutes late ! Damn it ! The shop closed at 12 at noon and we all so disappointed and we decided to have a lunch at Halal Nando's at Newcastle instead, but it's all nice Weekend Outings although as far as I remember the weather was really cold and chilly...
Cheers Li Peng and Stacy - we should do this more often soon as you all gonna leave soon for good !!
